60th Annual Eastern Shoshone Indian Days Powwow
June 20, 2019 @ 1:00 pm - June 23, 2019 @ 3:30 pm
This is Wyoming’s biggest and largest powwow! Join us for a traditional celebration held at the Fort Washakie powwow grounds. All are welcome to enjoy from great food vendors, arts and crafts, traditional Indian games, an all Indian parade, carnival games, and of course, traditional dancing to the sounds of several drum groups.
Hundreds of dancers come together to compete for large prize monies while the community enjoys Indian tacos, authentic bead work for sale and everyone’s favorite powwow treats and activities. Participate in the family/memorial dance specials and join us in recognizing dancers, drummers, singers and our 2018-2019 60th Annual Eastern Shoshone Indian Days Queen Nicole Nordwall.
Start the dancing early with the Boys & Girls Club Youth Contest Powwow on Thursday, June 20 at 7 pm.
Admission is free for each day.
